Design cost (prices for the design works)

The cost of development of the project documentation (working draft) on every kind of facilities depends on a wide range of factors.

For example, for filling stations and service station and convenience retailing the cost of the design works mainly depends on the following characteristics:

type: a traditional filling station, a LHG filling station or a wide-range filling station;

number of kinds of fuel;

number of fuel-dispensing units;

capacity of a tank farm and number of tanks;

availability and content of accompanying buildings and constructions (extended operator’s shack, availability of a shop, a service station or a car wash, sewage disposal plants and so on);

development on additional parts of the project (Construction method statement and Project for implementation of construction operations, Publicly owned treatment works, Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, Environmental Protection);

Below there are the prices for the design of filling stations in a standard list of equipment:

→  Base value of design of a filling station is 600000 rubles.

→  Base value of design of a LHG filling station is 600000 rubles.

→  Base value of design of a wide-range filling station is 900000 rubles.

The cost of the project on construction of the facilities of oil products storage and transfer (tank farms, oil products active storage, LHG storage buildings etc.) depends on the following characteristics:

Number and kinds of oil products (oil, fuel oil, petroleum, diesel fuel oil, liquefied hydrocarbon gas, solvents, individual hydrocarbons and so on);

Capacity of a tank farm, number of tanks and their type;

Ways of oil products acceptance and shipment (railway, automobile, pipeline, marine transport); number of points for loading and unloading;

Characteristic features of complexity of the functional diagram

The more complicated functionally and structurally the object,. the more difficulties one will face when determining a should cost (both from the point of view of the Customer and the Executor) of its design, - as there are a lot of characteristics and factors which could have a great impact on the production cost of the project design (and on the project price as a whole accordingly). Therefore the discussion on a final agreed cost should be conducted only after a comprehensive consideration of the items and making up a design task order.

The main factors which influence the design and construction cost of a refinery (mini-refinery):

Capacity of a raw material unit ;

Characteristics (kind and quality) of a would-be raw material (gas condensate, blend crude oil (prepared partially or crude oil), sour oil or sweet oil etc.);

Characteristics (quality and benchmarks) of the output (accordance with GOST -standards, EURO-standards, etc.) processing depth;

Output assortment (apart from petroleum, diesel fuel oil, fuel oil);

Characteristics (capacity and content) of a tank farm (correlation  with the units parameters).

There is a price-list of LLC “Specialized Constructive Bureau” on making design works and an appropriate methodology for the calculations which are the basis for determination of the design works cost taking into consideration the Customer’s demands and wishes.
